Exhibition Not down in any map
Curated by Joana Valsassina and Leonor Carrilho
November 22, 2019 to February 21, 2020
Monday to Sunday from 12PM to 8PM
TAGs’ first exhibition has as its starting point the particular nature of this place of stay and passage to explore the journey as a process of creation. Creation of the expectation that precedes the trip, the narrative that shapes it and the memory that alters it. Creation of identity - of ours and of each new place - in a dialectical process that establishes points of contact and divergence between the Self and the Other.
Not down in any map brings together works by five young artists that evoke instances of exploration and fictionalization, recognition and reflection, passage and refuge.
